What are your thoughts? Everyone talks about WW3. But since so many countries are involved in the fight against ISIS, does this make it a WW3?

ISIS and other terrorist groups. ISIS declared a Caliphate state in Iraq and Syria and is attempting to establish an Asian Caliphate in the Philippines. These groups have many supporters and sympathizers. Certain countries are supporting and funding terrorism and ISIS.

They are fighting against people in various countries such as in Europe, America, and Asia.

There have many battles and many dead due to the fighting and acts of terror.

If the Jihadist believe we are at war, shouldn't we also believe that we are war against them? Just a thought. I realize this might bring accusations of conspiracy etc... which is okay. I get that. But has the definition of traditional/conventional war changed since the Vietnam war? If the definition of World War is many large and small nations involved in a conflict with one another, then perhaps the war against terrorism is actually a world war by definition.

USA, Russia, UK, France, Philippines, China, NK, Japan, the Middle East, and many others aren't they all involved in some form against terrorism and "ISIS?"

No, this is like a pimple, on your ass, compared to a war like WW2

Bush said this will be a war unlike any other war ever seen and could last way past our lifetime and to prepare for it. Nothing has changed that opinion yet !
