"CHANNELVIEW - "Most likely to be a terrorist." Those are the words one seventh-grader at Lance Cpl. Anthony Aguirre Junior High School brought home from her teacher.

It was an award given to 13-year-old Lizeth Villanueva by her teacher."

My experience with these humorous awards are that they are steeped in some level of truth. I am sure we will see Lizeth (what the hell kind of name is that) rioting at Berkeley or taking over a building on a college campus demanding free crap in 7-8 years.

I was about to ask if the kid came to school wearing a black hoodie and assaulting anyone who didn;t agree with her leftist talking points.

^^ My guess was she openly criticized America & the Jews and took the position of ISIS and Hamas in class discussion.

"Most likely" doesn't mean "will." It is simply a statement of mathematical probability within a population. Perhaps none of the other students had any predisposition towards jihad and Lizbeth was the default selection.

In fairness, most middle school girls are terrorists at heart.

According to the article, it sounds like the teacher was doing a roast and gave various students fake awards trying to be funny. Evidently it didn't come across as funny. In today's culture, it was a poorly thought out plan.

My brother in law is a teacher and he once gave one that said "most likely to rob a liquor store."

Today's culture is perpetually angry and dissatisfied and has no sense of humor.

I guess if We grew up listening to that crappy music, terrible TV shows and gory zombie movies like young folks today do, We would likely do the same thing.

Probably the best post in the thread.

I just don't understand why a teacher thought this particular award would be a good idea. It might be funny to the class, but that's a fleeting 10 minutes when her career lies in the balance.

It was in bad taste. You shouldn't as an adult think this award is funny or fitting. Once the student becomes an adult and still behaves like a Berzerkly protestor then anything goes concerning innuendoes. I'd get mad if my son's teacher sent one of my sons with this "award".
