SG - Sidy Ndir - 6'2 - Sophomore - 13.7 PPG last season
This is going to be one scary PG/SG combination.
AJ Harris signed with Ohio State out of HS, Sidy Ndir signed with Texas A&M out of HS. To high-major players who will be two of the best guards in the WAC next season. Both only sophomores.
These two guys along with Eli Chuha are the reason I'm not all gloom and doom like some posters on this site are about NMSU basketball. Just hope Ndir stays healthy. He's has a history of injuries. Chuha is going to dominate this year.

The guy who does color commentating for GCU games was singing his praises during the GCU NMSU game in Phoenix.

Hmmm...I think Dancing has been eluding to the potential loss of another Aggie player and repeatedly only mentions N'Dir, Harris and Chuha. Could it be J. Jones that we are losing?

You are right, we need Sidy Ndir to stay healthy all season. I also agree that Eli Chuha will dominate. He should be one of the candaites for WAC Player of the Year. He is the best big man in the WAC.

Jones is enrolled for summer classes. I also saw that Braxton Huggins is still enrolled for summer classes at NMSU. I'm wondering if he is trying to graduate by August to transfer and play right away or is he thinking of staying.

The answer to what is Yes? Braxton staying? That would make all the terrible things I've read Aggie fans post about him on Aggie Alert a little awkward. Hahaha
But seriously, that would be great if he's had a change of heart and is staying around.
I guess the real answer to questions that everyone wants to know is maybe. Maybe Huggins is staying and Jermerio Jones as well. That is what I know. I do know Chuha, Harris and Ndir are staying. Wilkens looks like he is going to stay as well. That means 4 starters are probably back from next year with a point guard that is reported as being better than Ian Baker. Throw red shirt freshman Johnny McCants, and the Miles kid that just signed up, 3 point aussie ace Hadley and we should compete. Will we have another 28 game win season? Probably not. Tougher OCC schedule this year and Utah Valley and Grand Canyon are stacked. However, NMSU will be in the mix like they always are. BOHHYAHHH!!!

If Jans can convince Huggins to stay, then I think NMSU will once again be the favorite to win the WAC. I hope he stays but until otherwise stated, we have to assume he is still leaving.
With Huggins, NMSU would have a good starting five...
Harris
Ndir
Huggins
Chuha
Wilkins
With J. Jones, M Jones, McCants, Hadley, and Miles coming off the bench. Also, with a few more scholarships to fill, Jans could plug the gaps on our bench.
