I respectfully disagree with you. Please review my post to Big H again, and you will discover that we total disagree about the job Aresco has done. Therefore, I was not "defending 'Big H'"....

Underdog and I aren't equally agreeing with Aresco's performance. I say Aresco has done a pretty good job while Underdog believes quite the opposite.

I think Aresco can do a lot for this league, biggest challenge for the AAC IMO however is convincing every program to remain together and not publicly announce you want out.

Thing is, none of us do want to "remain together", we all want out of the AAC and away from each other ASAP. If Houston got a Big 12 invite tomorrow you'd be gone before I could blink my eyes twice. And i wouldn't even think of blaming you.

You know that I have much respect for you Big H…. However, we are literally on “opposite” ends of the performance spectrum when it comes to Aresco. I will admit moving slightly in your direction with the addition of Wichita St…. 04-cheers

The bold words in your post Quo is what I want to address: The schools in this conference are so ambitious—which is one reason why UC, UCONN, and USF chose to elevate them from CUSA—they would all likely leave for a depleted B12 if given the chance….

I suppose you would have preferred not to be on TV at all???? He had no choice but to negotiate what he had at the time which was the biggest problem. All the members were negotiating with other leagues for themselves so he didn't even know if he had a league to sell. It was complete chaos. And I agree with some other posters. He didn't lose Boise. Boise got a sweetheart deal from the MWC and the presidents and AD's had no interest in giving them a special deal like that. End of Story. That same deal has caused a lot of bad blood in the MWC as well so yeah it didn't work out that great for them as they have already altered it. I have said on several occasions, I will judge him on the next deal and the bowl lineup. There is stability, there are actual rating and a clear picture of what the league is now. I would bet the deal is much more attractive this time around for all parties.

Fool's gold...LOL..... You admit that we “had 1 year left for football at the time.” Consequently, I challenge you to provide a reasonable answer as to why we were ill-advised by Aresco to take an unnamed product to market. I will rep you 1 point if your answer is remotely believable. Good luck….

Ok hotshot. You seem to have all the answers. What would you have done? One year left for football and an expired basketball package. What do you do? Don't give generalities....... put your plan on the table.

Hell, give 2 plans, one for what you were to do with BSU and SDstate still in the mix........ and the other with them already gone.

Here is your chance.

Change who you root for to “The American,” and I’ll gladly answer your question Florida fan. Furthermore, the SEC Board is in that > direction...and thank you for stopping by....

Wow...... and there you have it. All hot air...........exposed. What a fraud........07-coffee3

Most times I agree with Underdog but when I don't our feed backs are always respectful.

Relax dude, Underdog is a heck of a poster around here.
