Broken Arrow, OK is a pretty well branded community as far as mascots go. Same goes for the other big suburbs around Tulsa. Jenks school district = Trojans. Union school district = Redskins.

I had no idea, so I did some Googling.

From what I can tell (Cougs fans correct me if I'm wrong), in both the ASU and UH versions, the index and middle finger are separated. So while they may be close, they are not, well, the original Shocker loved by wives and girlfriends the world over...
