Will your coach (Mcguire) be fired this year?

I figure if you do--it will start to put pressure on WKU to do the same this or next year.

Not sure, I believe his contract goes to 2018. I'd be surprised honestly if Massaro had the ax sharpened, if there's any kind of buyout.

Missing two conference tourneys in a row is not something that has happened in a long, long, long while at Middle.

Yep. I think that's most likely. Those two decades under Coach Pete when we were really good McGuire was the one landing most of the recruits. His knowledge of the game is top notch. The pitching coach was a bad hire.

But he may only get one more year to clean it up.

It is time for a change and if there isn't one, it's proof we don't care about baseball.
The bottom line is that he has missed the CONFERENCE tournament 60 percent of the time. In a lottery state. With decent facilities. At a school with good baseball tradition.

Great guy. Not the answer. And the hissy for the former players threw to get him hired set the program back years.

Agree, short leash but he'll be back next season.

WKU baseball would have been better off keeping the coach they fired...He did way better then this guy....

WKU baseball fans are ashamed,miserable,and frustrated with this past season.We have hit bottom.with a capital B.

Sad thing for MT is..... we are 13th in the nation in team hits, 26th in team batting avg, and top 50 in runs scored.

Hard to fix horrific pitching.

Myers was hired after players threw a fit for him. Didn't work out so well when he got canned. Our coach now, just bad so far. We feel you pain down there.
