Flagship Radio Station Of The Rockets
During the sport break updates they teen highlighting Zero State's commitment of local player.


I wonder if the radio stations in Columbus report when someone there commits to Toledo?????

The radio and television stations in Columbus have absolutely no idea there are other colleges and universities in the state of Ohio.

They are just as likely highlighting that local school but by any measure, this is local news. Did they pronounce his name right? Took the duh'local knife, who is I think owned by that local high school, a couple tries to get the kid's name correct.

As for the Flagship station of the rockets, I'm not aware of what station you refer to but don't they tell local news?

I didn't know what he was talking about. WSPD is Toledo city station so I would expect them to carry news like this. I don't think being a "Flagship" station precludes it.

For the record, I googled and utrockets. com does refer to the station in this manner but doesn't claim ownership of their broadcasting and news coverage decisions.
