Ferguson is the QB, for sure, and Miller is likely to repeat as the best receiver on our squad (but he's not the only one...we have a ton), and it's possible that Dorceus could end up being behind Henderson, Taylor and Pollard as threats. If this ranking was based on team offensive potential, our Tigers would be near the top, IMHO.

This is strictly my personal opinion, but I think that Henderson could end up approaching DeAngelo as a running back if he stays healthy. I like what I see when he has the ball in his hands. Would someone with time on their hands like to compare their freshman year stats?

DeAngelo's freshman rushing stats: 10 Games, 684 Yards on 103 carries for a 6.6 YPC, plus 5 TD's.
Henderson's freshman rushing stats: 13 games, 482 yards on 87 carries for a 5.5 YPC, plus 3 TD's.

Fairly similar. Both backs, tho, really shine as triple-threat players, when you add in their receiving and returns.

DeAngelo didn't have as many backs to share the load with as Henderson has.

I think some of you may be forgetting how special DeAngelo was and that is not a shot at Henderson.

This x1000.

Teams would load the box and DeAngelo would always find a seam. Henderson is good (said that when he signed out of HS) but he aint DeAngelo.

Good times.

If our OL was a known proven factor going into no doubt they would have been top 10.

But he did play behind Donte Brown who was a solid every down player. We had no Donte Brown eating up playing time last year.

133 rushes for 562 yards on average of 4.2 ypc and 6 TD
