Camp Higher Grind: Beware the Ides of August
My apologies if anyone posted these vids previously but if this is any indication of things to come, the boys in black and red are going to learn a new meaning of "grind" come August.

Love it. God help any player who thinks he can coast because coach is out on the golf course. This is going to be some Lord Of The Flys sh!t.

I have a tire in my garage. Its go time - who wants to come over for a pull tourney?

The tire is a trap, fellas. Eastside is built like one of those cattle-roid Scandinavian dudes on late night world's strongest man competitions and he has an old tractor trailer in the driveway he harnesses up and pulls the kids to the bus stop on every morning.

Pro tip: If so inclined, challenge him to a foot race instead.

Since I've met you both before, I'll vouch for your account of Eastside...

We have a coach who eats, sleeps, breathes and shiits football. Imagine that! Obviously, it takes more than physical conditioning, mental toughness and team building endeavors to win games on the field but this stuff is part of the equation for success. Coach is putting his stamp on the program and trying to change the culture for the better. He's off to a great start.

Right. I can barely bring myself to go to the garage in fear my mythical self might be waiting there to trounce me.
