From Rochester Adams HS - exactly 1.5 miles from my house and about 2 miles from the Oakland University gym. Also the alma mater of Madonna - who donated a lot of money for a performing arts center there.
I wonder if Oakland U. went after him. I don't follow HS basketball up here so I don't know anything about him.

Of course what we really need is a big guy.
Yep. Maybe he plays big and can fill in when Knapke gets in foul trouble.
I guess TK doesn't think he needs another big. I hope he's right.
And this guy averaged less than 2 points a game as a freshman? What am I missing?

Yeah, only two points, but Duquesne was as loaded as a 10-22 team can be

So hard to follow TK's thinking on these transfers...I know it isn't the good old days but I always get the feeling this is not as well thought out an operation as we give it credit for being...a Big Please!?!?

Watched the highlights. So he is a little more athletic Jalen Sanford, but not as tall as Navigato. We have the point guard coming in next year as our savior, Jalen slides to the 2 spot. The kid from Colorado slips into the 3/4. Mid season the kid from Missouri is our 4. Knapke is our only true big. Ataway is a mystery. There is a few years different in classes for this kid, so maybe its a forward thinking move?

If we aren't signing anyone for next season, we need to sign a minimum of two 6-8 guys next fall.

Guy can hit the open trey and shoot it off the dribble. Looks like a good MAC player.

If you look at TK's Transfer History at Toledo, I think he has done a very good job overall of bringing in players who have made a positive impact on the program. Transfers who have made a positive impact in his 7 years as Head Coach include Rian Pearson, Matt Smith, Dominique Buckley, Justin Drummond, JD Weatherspoon, Curtis Dennis and Steve Taylor Jr. Transfers who had very little or no impact include Dre Applewhite, Lucas Antunez and Daniel D. The story is still out on Treshawn Fletcher and Willie Jackson, but indications are they will be major contributors this upcoming season, and in Jackson's case, 2 more seasons.

Right the transfer history is very good. Don't know anything about this kid but he had a couple A10 offers along w Oakland.
The Simeon kid is no certainty just with us having good success w one of his HS teammates as a transfer and w another on the roster you imagine we are trying to get him in for a visit and the university facility and team culture usually make a good impression.

First thoughts after watching a little video...
Littleson is Sanford part due and I think Kowalczyk owes Keith Dambrot a favor down the road--no doubt in my mind Spencer was looking to transfer and Keith sent him our way.

3 1/2 years to play 3 1/2
the word is jackson got caught in an ncaa tansfer loophole. even though he only played about a 1/3 of his freshman year at missouri before transferring to toledo he played too many games to get the year back of eligibility. plus, he's not allowed to play for another full rs year due to the transfer. so, he has 2 1/2 years of eligibility over 3/1/2 years. the ncaa will only allow him to play the equivalent of 3 seasons. i imagine the university is appealing but we are not an ACC or SEC school so it will likely be denied.

Right, if you play half a season, it counts as a full season. So Jackson has already used one year of eligibility, not a half year. This coming year, he will use another year of eligibility, not a half year. That will leave him two more years to play after this year. He could sit out this entire year and have three years left, but apparently he's not going to do that.
