Even the best pens occasionally get beat . .

See y'all tomorrow . . 04-cheers

The Bobcats sure swing the bats. Good series.

I'd like to apologize to my Cajun brethren. Attended my first Cajun baseball home game in MANY years on Saturday; so I must be the bad luck "charm". LOL But enjoyed the game and met several nice Bobcat fans. Very pleased with how the stadium is coming along. Great atmosphere and a terrific night for baseball!
Just curious, for thise out of towners who attended the game what y'all thought of the new stadium and atmosphere, etc. I was at all 3 this weekend and thought the crowds were only average, if not below what they had been earlier in the season.

I wasn't there . . . But considering the way we're "tanking" our season, I can understand if "Bobcat fan" was hesitant to travel to watch what was a foregone conclusion . . . (speaking only for myself).
Actually, we were kind of impressed with the showing.
Which reminds me, there was one (female) cat 'fan' sitting near section A that during the first game would SCREECH out Gunner's name every time he went to throw.......and she would do it CONTINUOUSLY. Never saw anything near like it.
At one point the whole stadium was standing up looking to see who it was. I really thought it was gonna get fugly if she didn't STFU. I think the cops finally warned her cause she shut up for the rest of the game/series after that.
I heard her son plays 2nd base I think..... he must be REAL proud to have her repping him.

03-lmfao considering the way we're playing, if we had a good showing, then I'm glad for the team. They deserve the support.

Bobcat fans have experienced and/or heard great things about the baseball experience at UL. Hope to experience it myself one day.

I hope you do too....it was a great series and I'm glad we grinded out a "W."
BTW, one of the ruston fans said that the new Tigue had a nice façade, but otherwise was not 'impressive.' Guess he missed the 10 suites, awesome layout that lets you watch the action from anywhere in the main concourse while you getting your grub, the great/enthusiastic crowds, awesome beer selection, the nationally ranked attendance, etc. But yeah, 'just another stadium, lol.'
Must be terrible to be so insecure and petty towards your big brother.
