What with shipping dates and manufacturing dates the lights are showing up later and later all the time. A lot of times if you don't have approval for the lighting package BEFORE the job starts, there is a good chance they will be pretty late showing up.

I did a walk thru of the new bball facility the other day, it is impressive and seems like it will be really nice, first class.

Thanks for the report. It will be a first class facility and a potent recruiting tool for a skilled coach.

Just from reading '83's posts I don't think that's who he meant.

That's part of why I was surprised when I saw what's in there. I haven't seen anything sell but high bay LED's for that type application in at least three years. The other reason is that I've never seen new construction with high ceilings (gym, warehouse, etc.) where they ran the wiring, hung random fixtures, took them down, and then hung the permanent lighting. Lighting is almost always the first thing we put on a jobsite like that when they're done pulling wires.

I hope you're right, but I'll still owe someone a beer if you are. And maybe someone else a doughnut.

Mark G tweeted another update a few days ago. He must have read the thread. He said in the tweet the lights are temporary.

It is a beautiful facility that many of us (to varying degrees) helped fund. It should be a powerful recruiting tool when wielded properly by Tiger basketball coaches.

I'm afraid Mammy is gonna have a hard time dealing with no longer being the self-appointed Players' Parking Space Monitor for the neighborhood.

Why park at a STOP sign when there is a huge parking lot just across the street from the Finch Center?

It's called a parking violation.

Just a thought but prolly was a bad idea to call out Tsafack after pulling up to him on a borrowed shopping cart rascal from the SuperLo.

Mammy is a good sport and a true Tiger fan. Unfortunately he tends to unintentionally offend by keepin' it real.

I can relate.
