I just hate to see a Memphis logo on something called state-of-the art that's using technology that was used on what we now call the old bridge. When you take your first tour after they open it, point your phone up and take a picture. It'll look familiar.

could we wait until it's built and opened before we complain about it?

it looks at least twice the size of the Finch Center with higher ceilings...I guess I don't see the problem.

No ****.......

Crappy lighting's no problem to replace. It just should've been anticipated, like the sprinklers.

I still cant believe that you are complaining about this...

Let me ask you this...How many lights do you count in that shot...Is that enough to light a couple of full court basketball courts at night.

Secondly...Yes they do run permanent wiring for constructions lights...It takes a 15 minutes to attach a light to an existing light box and existing power. Same 15 minutes to replace it.

Not sure what constructions jobs you are comparing this to but you sound extremely petty.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard that we had to downgrade the lighting because Tubby paid Saul $250,000 more than what was budgeted for his position.

Maybe you're right. When you take the tour after they open it, point YOUR phone up and take a picture. Then we can compare your picture with # 4's and this one and see if they all look alike. If they don't, I'll buy you a beer the next time I see you. Not that I've ever seen you, to know it.

That little liquor store got rid of the growler station.

Then changed/downsized their "good" beer selection.

The people are super nice.

I should have checked out their lighting arrangement last time I was in there.

Probably don't have LED's. I'd shop somewhere else.

Yes. When given the chance, you run the permanent wiring and hang whatever light you have for temp. We have not done a job in probably 2 years with anything BUT led lighting. I would be very surprised if this was different.

01-lauramac2 I've read all these complaining, whinny little ******* here and they don't know ****!!! 03-nutkick They did a tour of Kansas St., Indiana, Missouri and ours will be bigger than those P5 schools. It's getting old, with all the bitching for nothing. Same people come with same dumb gripes about everything TIGERS related. Donate a few million of your dollars to the project for more space or whatever you think it should be, otherwise, find a corner and go sit down. 03-shhhh Add something to the conversation other than complaints and maybe people around the program will be more informative about the real happenings around the program. Instead I read more bull**** here than informative TIGERS news. Too many oldheads here for so much childish drama, check that **** at the door. Umm Just Sayin 07-coffee3

That's what she said.

That's what I said when I took home a cougar from the Trophy Room.

How old was she?

I never ask a woman's age, instead I ask when they graduated.

you get the same info, in a nicer way.

I don't see a single two-star recruit on there and rivals has Johnson as a four-star

That's part of why I was surprised when I saw what's in there. I haven't seen anything sell but high bay LED's for that type application in at least three years. The other reason is that I've never seen new construction with high ceilings (gym, warehouse, etc.) where they ran the wiring, hung random fixtures, took them down, and then hung the permanent lighting. Lighting is almost always the first thing we put on a jobsite like that when they're done pulling wires.

I hope you're right, but I'll still owe someone a beer if you are. And maybe someone else a doughnut.
