* Assuming this schedule is ever actually completed, that is...

So in total through 2037, FSU has 4 home / 5 road with the Irish. Louisville in total has 5 home / 4 road (1 already played) vs Notre Dame. I'm not going through all teams but my guess is everyone will be 4/5 or 5/4. If someone has the time, I'd 'd be curious to see if anyone has a more uneven split.

VT has 4 home 4 away. Does any other team play ND less than 9 times?

I didn't do any research outside this thread. I simply combined the graphic in post #2 with the up to the moment games ND has played that are listed in post #22.

The results are everyone plays the Irish 9 times from 2014-2037, with the below exceptions:

8 games
Duke, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech
7 games
Georgia Tech

If this match-ups truly play themselves out this far, I presume Notre Dame's 2038 schedule would be largely made up of the above opponents. I don't know why Georgia Tech only has 7 games however.

Why are a couple of the series so unbalanced? FSU only gets 3 home games vs 5 at ND.

FSU has already had 1 home game, making it 4 & 5 (best you can do with 9 games).

The Irish will be destroyed in 2028.

Yeah, that 7-3 record with really close losses at FSU, Clemson and versus Louisville took a hit with last year's putrid overall results.
