I am impressed that UC and UConn are on the list considering that they were so bad last year. What's more neither program's numbers are skewed by a matchup against a school with a huge t-shirt fan base (ie. Alabama, Ohio State, Texas, etc.).

It's conference games only. Same thing I did last year. Networks bid on conference packages, not OOC games as they can be postoned/cancelled beyond a contract expiration date. The only teams that may have their OOC games considered in negotiations are the service academies as those are guaranteed games.

Unlike the MAC and SB, the MWC has all their teir 1 games on CBS-SN. ESPN only gets the MWC games CBS-SN passes on. The MAC gets exposure on espn; MWC doesn't, bad comparison.

I see what you are saying overall, and this in-conference games only look definitely has value.

However, I disagree that a bid doesn't factor in OOC games. AAC's overall value is increased because of the track record of Houston-Oklahoma, Houston-Louisville, Memphis-Mississippi, USF-FSU, etc. The AAC CAN get home-and-homes or neutral sites like these games AND they deliver a hype-able game which delivers viewers. I would submit that it adds to the value in negotiations.
(In addition to the Navy games which you already mentioned - In addition to the Army-Navy cash cow and the Navy-Air Force average to above average ratings, Navy-Notre Dame is scheduled through 2026 and AIN'T going away)
