WMU has a strong cheer team that also does well in national competitions, like the dance team.

Note, too, that the cheer and dance teams - and the band - all strongly dislike the stupid weeknight games in November. Combine that with the players and coaches also disliking them, let alone the fans who stay away, and it is about time WMU told ESPN and the MAC to shove it. We play on Saturdays at 1 p.m.

Give it up. It's all about the $$. Hate weeknight games too, but it is the reality of being a MAC fan. Do not like freezing my tail off in Waldo Stadium on November nights, but if the Broncos are playing, I'll be there.
