Fickell to meet, greet UC fans this weekend

Took the young lad to see CLF. Nice meet and greet. Young lad received a signed poster for his room. Not many in line however saw lots people walking around afterwards with posters in UC gear

Had to much stuff going on today. Again I will say, where is the promotion for events like this? I follow all UC accounts on social media and this stuff barely gets mentioned.

I agree.... Go Bearcats had a post about this a couple weeks ago, then
nothing mentioned since then... They did the same thing with the
Elder scrimmage.. Dropped the ball both times...

It's every event. The just refuse to advertise. For god sakes social media is the easiest way in the world to advertise and they barely use it.

I heard this on multiple news reports that Luke was going to be at under armour along with a comment in the enquirer ..people have to pay attention

I have to agree. UC creates no buzz for their events. You can't leave it up to the local media who could care less. Someone in the athletic dept needs to get the word out.

First I heard of it was on this board.

I'll never argue against the merits of more publicity. But I do recall getting at least one, possibly two, emails from UCATS this past week about the event. One of the local TV stations (WCPO maybe), did a follow-up story during their 6 p.m. sportscast that was quite positive and included comments from CLF.

Got a e-mail a week ago about it from UC and saw it posted multiple times on twitter over the past week.

The folks b!tching most likely are not members

I received two emails, saw it on 2 different sports reports on thursday and friday, saw it on twitter, it was on the front page of the enquirer website. Maybe next time he can call everyone personally, or rent the blimp. I was 3k miles away from Cincy most of the week and knew about it.

First rule of business communications: if you think you're communicating 10 times as much as necessary, you're only communicating about 10% as much as you should be.

Yeah , its funny because this year I thought they promoted the hell out of it compared to the last couple years at the Monroe outlet mall . If you follow the gobearcats twitter account and various coaches who will retweet the stuff you'd see it daily. Plus the emails. I dont think this warrants spending money for radio or tv time .

The timing was a little odd being in the midst of commencement ceremonies, the reason I couldnt go.
