MyBB Mid-Major Madness Bandwagon Index
So GCU was overall the best on the list of Mid-Major teams (plus DePaul and Rutgers). The index measures how much fun it would be to be a part of the teams fan base. Uses metrics like culture, watchability, and the quality of the team. GCU was the only team highlighted in the article, but I imagine some would be in the middle tier of list with maybe NMSU and CSUB being in the top tier.

The article on the index can be found here.

I just read this haha. Fun article. Mid-Major Madness is one of my favorite sites to read. They have a few guys who are really tuned into the WAC. WAC Wednesday is awesome.

I stopped reading when they said "the WAC has a surprisingly good streaming service." Did they ever even watch a game this year?

Most conferences don't have free streaming services at all haha. I am thankful for the WACDN.

And those who do are a lot worse than the WACDN. I tried watching the GCU and UCR game through a stream and gave up cause the audio was behind most of the time, if there was audio at all.

Yep. Also Big West TV or whatever is absolutely awful. Hopefully next year this ASN merger or whatever will carry more WAC games. Sounds like the streaming will be free.

I'm guessing he mistakenly said WAC when he should have directly credited GCU. Free streaming of all home contests on YouTube/GCU.TV plus COX and CW streaming and/or direct broadcast really is decent coverage.

I know Barry is a homer and tough for some of you guys to listen to, but a free stream with annoying announcers is better than no stream at all. Agreed?

When the WACDNs big moment of streaming UW at SU, a high major program, came this year they couldn't get a video stream working for the whole game. UW fans didnt let SU hear the end of it. Embarrassing

Yep all the free streams please! Don't really care who is announcing. Like I said I think this ASN merger or whatever will carry a lot more WAC games. They are merging with Campus Insiders who had some high quality streams last year. I think they will be hosting the games rather than ASN. I also believe it was said the streams will all be free. So for those hoping for non home team announcers this might be it. Either way I am very hopeful and excited to see what they can do.

Better than that UMKC paid stream also.

Yeah I wanted to watch the UMKC CBI games. Also UVU didn't broadcast their CBI games which was annoying, would've loved to watch those.

Well I really like the guy haha! He's only one man so considering that he does a good job, I think he is rather insightful. He's not as biased and homer like as the GCU announcers but is of course the home team announcer.

Yah, I'm just joking around with some of the posters. Just 05-stirthepot a little.
I think now though, your post may get a bit of attention from GCU and Ags fans. 04-rock :)

All postseason games besides NIT and NCAA tournament should be available on the WAC DN w/o question.

Beat writer for Louisville actually now has an odd affinity for Keonta Vernon as a result of Barry's emphatic calls. It is curiously kind of amazing. Hahaha
