visiting team fans
With the first rows gone, hopefully they put visiting team fans up in the top corners of nippert, instead of right in front. I know those weren't good views for seats, but I hated watching visiting fans celebrating victories at Nippert.

Hopefully the new coaching staff helps us from the other end of the stick by ensuring more UC victories.

They normally include the words band somewhere, but they are actually moving them somewhere. They won't be in the same section as before.

They played the spring game in the center section of the bearcat lair. Don't know where they'll be in the fall. If i find out, I'll let you know.

If you actually want to hear them, its a good place to put them.

I have watched many games from sections 214 and 215, and those are actually pretty good seats (plus a very short walk to open restrooms and the Great Lakes Brewing area). Of course, it is hard to find a bad seat in Nippert.

The only thing wrong with those seats is that when people mention how loud Nippert can get, you don't notice it as much there. I do enjoy watching the student section, however. Makes me sad knowing what I missed out on being a student in the late 80's.

My seats used to be in the 1st row of 214. Loved those. Even had a scoreboard in front of me to use as a beer holder.

Perhaps we should give visiting fans great seats so they will be so impressed they will have their children or grandchildren want to attend UC and support the local establishments.

You're right. It was funny the first time he said it.

Nippert is so small it's kind of difficult to avoid noticing any sizable visiting team fan base from celebrating. I think giving them crappy seats is the best way to dampen enthusiasm.

Because I've seen so many opposing fans at our games since we got into the American.

Outside of Louisville and WVU, the same sarcasm could have been applied to the Big East.

Pittsburgh brought a pretty large contingent of fans as well. That's 3 more than 0.

You're thinking of the Steelers. Pitt brought dozens (literally) the last time they played at Nippert.
