My "wait and see" has absolutely nothing to do with a "rosier view". I honestly want to wait and see. Also, I disagree with your opinion that Tubby has not done anything to date that would make us a very good team.

1. Please note the operative word "or". I understand you are in the "wait and see" category (which, FWIW, I think is reasonable).

2. I did not state that Tubby has not done anything to date to make us a very good team. A more accurate statement is he has not undertaken sufficient action to ensure a very good team.

Yeah, it will be interesting to see how Smith does with players how committed to him and Memphis, rather than to another coach.

Also, "failed" is a rather subjective term. He matched last season's win total with a less talented team than the Memphis 2015-16 squad, while dealing with some injuries and an environment that doesn't seem to have been conducive to winning for awhile. Also, basically every individual returning player showed improvement from the year before. The transfers hurt from a pure talent standpoint, but I saw enough good things this past season to be encouraged about the future.

With all of the STARS the Lawson's had, we should have been sweet 16 baby, that's what I'm talking about. We don't need no center's, we don't need no depth. Depth is for wimps. Iron man basketball is the way to go.
