Rice defeated FIU 4-1 earlier to win their 5th straight women's title.

The men then defeated ODU 4-3 to win their 2nd straight. ODU went up 3-0 before Rice hammered out 4 straight wins in singles.

Congratulations Rice. This is the second year in a row that we lost to you. I hope our Tennis coach gets the job done next time if not i guess nothing will happen. I assume they'll give more time to tennis coaches for results than they do for FB Coaches.

If you're going to take jabs at the AD, keep it to sports you follow. This was Mueller's first year at ODU. Piric got hired away by the U after last season.

Nope not taking jabs and like you said i really don't follow tennis in the least. If this is the coaches first year then i am pretty sure he/she has ample time to prove themselves.

Watched rice v North Texas yesterday...very solid play by the girls...our girls were bigger and more powerful, but lacked the consistency that the rice ladies had...good job on winning yet again

You guys did a great job hosting, i was up there for the final today.
Could probably say the same about FIU and their power game.
Hope they get an at-large but I don't expect it since they came in at #40.
