Macron is 300% establishment.

In other words, once in power he's not going to give a flip about the border.

Le Pen is already shaking up the status quo, but that's probably all she'll be able to do. Unless ISIS decides to pull out all the stunts (multiple terrorist attacks), I see Macron winning.

However, immigration reform is now going to be on the French radar regardless of who wins.

I wonder why we don't hear more from liberals that the only reason people are not voting for Marine Le Pen is sexism and misogyny?

How very, very curious, no?

Dispatch: Marine Le Pen rides high in France's bellwether town that always backs the winning president

And so it begins.

Why no picture of Marshall Petain? He, like Le Pen is a fascist who is doing the bidding of a foreign power. He, also like Le Pen, didn't like anyone that the far right didn't consider a true native.

Yea...the beginning of a beat down for the fascists.

Fascist this fascist that, shut the **** up Tom, Le Pen is far from a fascist and you're just painting her through your leftist tinted glasses.

Le Pen is a fascist. Period. That's her appeal.

How very, very curious, no?

Because Le Pen is racist, homophobic, a fellow traveler of Neo-Nazis, xenophobic, financially supported by Putin, etc.

The fact that the Le Pen is female is irrelevant.

Because Clinton is a liar, criminal, and sexual predator enabler supported by the Media, etc.

The fact that Clinton is female is irrelevant.

Interesting

Sort of how I felt about Hillary and sort of how I felt about Obama's race but I get no credit for that when I opposed their policies, did I?

Macron is a wealthy white male so if you vote against LePen you are sexist. If if good for the goose it's good for the gander.

You don't really think that will happen, do you?

It could.

First, the SNP will sweep Scotland.

Plenty of Labor folks are livid over Corbyn's failure to support the EU. The ones I know (but of course they are educated and urban) are openly supporting the Lib Dems

And just this morning. Tony Blair signaled his support for the 'abandon Labor to save the EU'. Pretty significant Labor guy there.

Remember, the Lib Dems are openly campaigning on no Brexit. In an election with all other Brexit supporting parties....its not beyond the range of possibilities.
Bump.

curious results all around. SNP "sweep" of Scotland? IndyRef 2? SNP/LibDem coalition govt?
Umm, no.

Brexit hinges on the Irish Unionists. Not yet sure what they'll want but (just a guess) this whole thing could be headed for the fabled "Norway Option". EFTA.
