Glad EMU didn't go to the Miami Beach Bowl last December (and be blamed for its demise ).

Wonder if this has any affect on the the MAC's involvement in this bowl?

The local support and its time slot were horrible. In no way can any of the teams involved be blamed for its demise. This Bowl game was a cluster f from its inception as have any other Miami area Bowl games other than the Orange Bowl.

The decision was all about money.

ESPN thought it could do better financially with the game in Frisco Texas than being raped by the Miami Port Authority or whomever owns that stadium in Florida.

Forget about this one. G5 needs to pull it together for the next bowl cycle.

Frisco has an awesome stadium that will be the ideal size for this bowl game. I would bank on this bowl succeeding.
