Top of the first in the first game of a four game series, the Broncos left runners on first and second with two walks. In the bottom of the first the Broncos retired the first two batters the gave up a double, an RBI single and another single before recording the third out.

1-0 Eastern

Top of the second and a double and an RBI single ties it at 1-1.

The Broncos escaped trouble in the bottom of the second with the darndest thing I have ever seen in a ball game. With a runner on first and 0 out, the batter bunted, successfully sacrificing the runner over. The umpires got together and sent the runner to the bench but recorded just the one out.

Bottom of the third Eastern recorded 1 run on a solo homerun.

2-1 EMU

Left after the Broncos batted in the fifth inning, score was still 2-1. They are going to try to play three games tomorrow to avoid having to play Sunday afternoon.

Will give a final score as soon as I find out.

You're welcome BP. This is an important series this weekend being the last regular season series and they need to sweep today and get a little help to make the conference tournament. Unfortunately, I will miss most, if not all of the first game today because I was told to go pick up the scUM football team and take them to Detroit Metro.
