If they'd extend the wall out to Blytheville they'd probably get support from most of Northeast Arkansas including financial assistance.

It would take more than that to win a national championship at memphis.

It's the people that stay in a city that make it a city worth staying in.

Memphis is a town with a long memory. We remember the guys who gave us their all, whether they grew up here or not.

When talented/skilled Memphis kids (FB and BB) choose the University and make solid improvements in their home environment, the potential for a win-win situation is off the charts.

In other words, when these homegrown kids mature to become successful human beings, they often return to improve the Memphis community--which is really just one big family, no matter where some of us may have landed...lol.

This town never forgets. The kids see that. We should not make it so hard for them to please us.

Greatest city in the world.

On THIS site, that sentiment should be embraced. Which is not meant in any way to ignore big city problems we have, like ALL BIG cities, some issues larger, some less so.

But Memphis is phucking fantastic. Enjoy other areas all you want, we do too. Regardless, Memphis is great. Especially here.

Im sorry but it is selfish as hell to tell these kids not to leave the city. Memphis can be rough especially with the kids from rougher neighborhoods. Honestly I think most of them should leave and see what other places are like and get away from the neighborhood they grew up in and the people they grew up with. Even though I returned and love and respect Memphis, leaving Memphis for a short time was the best move I ever made.

My father traveled with his job and spent months- years at a time living in other places. I have traveled with work and lived in other places. Regardless of how nice some of these other places were, Memphis has always been my favorite.

Other schools (think SEC) pay their athletes and their entourages more dollars and get them more TV exposure...it's all about the Dead Benjamins, baby!

Memphis is very unique...the music, the sports and the River.

The music is mojo magic there. So many good musicians and everything that goes with that.

WOW! Now, this is what makes a positive post. You are exactly right, these kids need to think about that it is time to build championships here, and they can do it if they would come together and think about it.
