RE: Hayford adds another 3 star
I agree I think this team will be very good and towards the top of the league in a few years. Hayford was such a great hire. Absolutely couldn't be more happy with where the WAC is headed.

I have a feeling that with Hayford at SU the WAC will have a nice group of GCU Bake NMSU SU and CBU going forward but I think SU will have a winning record next year and battle UVU for 4th I think.

Ben-- I like where Seattle is headed. Clearly Hayford saw the potential at Seattle and he's not wasting anytime with his recruiting. Starting to wonder where CSU will be able to grab a win next year given the current makeup of several teams.

UMKC is going to be really bad next year. I think CSU gets a win there. All others should at least be around .500 or better.

Agreed that UMKC could be a W. There's always a good shot against UTRGV too. All others, it's possible but I'll becomes tougher. Still interested to see who Chicago State brings back. They have had a lot leave/graduate already and I don't know a ton about some of their income JC players.

I would absolutely love if CSU could somehow get to .500. Missing Sims, Palmer and Owen is going to be hard to replace though. They have 2 JUCO's and 2 high schoolers from what I can see. They are going to have to play right away.

Yeah, after this coming year I think SU is going to *finally* take off. Funny how in a matter of a month, Hayford is bringing in bigger guys than Dollar ever did. I can only remember Dollar having 1 3-star recruit, who was academically ineligible and now at Alabama.

Dollar really never had Davis though.

I wouldn't mind seeing CSU go Juco crazy and get 3-4 Jucos and see what happens.

He had him signed officially, just academics ruined it unfortunately. Pryor might have been a 3 star prospect too but was never evaluated by any service. Likely because he was committed since he started high school

That's the way to build a program. That's what Barnes did. I don't think they have the scholarships this year though but I do think that is the way to do it.

Despite the issues with stability at CSU, they seem like they have a perfect opportunity to go after a bunch of JUCOs and grad transfers in their current state

Juco's are nice to jump start or bridge the gap in a program but to make it the bread and butter for the long term isn't a great idea IMO.

Yep that's what I mean it's good to jump start a program and get them winning with experienced guys. Barnes is now recruiting almost exclusively high schoolers.
