Not when you're trying to get everyone out of there. Marshall had to stay an extra night (Beckley is about 2 hours from campus).
My guess is they should have suspended the game earlier but tried to finish.

Exactly. I still like playing one weekend in Beckley, and doing it this time of year is usually just fine. But this year we had a blast of chilly weather that coincided with this weekend.
I'll reiterate to those who are unaware: the stadium in Beckley on a hilltop.

The ODU loss was the first home weekend series loss (CUSA or OOC) since the 2015 season when FAU came to Hattiesburg and took 2 of 3. Congrats ODU on the series win.

Thanks. That series win really helps our at-large chances, but there are still 15 games left, so they have to keep playing well. It would be nice to see CUSA get two at-large bids this year. I feel like we deserve them.

Heck of a boost in RPI for ODU -- all the way to 39.

CUSA is a 3-bid league at the moment. USM, ODU, Charlotte imo.
Charlotte and Tech are both tight, but I'll give the Niners the edge because they have a better record in conference, beat Tech H2H, and have a marquee OOC series W (WVU).
Conference quotas don't exist, but I don't see CUSA getting 4 in unless someone goes on a run like FIU did in 2015 or UAB in 2012.
Biloxi could be big for a couple teams.

That seems like a perfect scenario for the league. Hope we can get all 4 in. Quite a bit of ball to play though.
