RE: Indoor Practice Facility
It seems like I've had conversations with people who donated money for IPF going back 20 years and notta....

If they are going to build it, build it. If they aren't stop talking about it.

Although I hear some of the delay has to do with the new Board Of Regents????

actually the opposite. The TN BoR put roadblocks to stop the IPF, the new UoM BoR approved the IPF on Day1 04-cheers

They were waiting the new UofM BoR.

They are getting the finance approved. Looking at who runs the finance committee on the new board. I would be surprised if they don't get it approved soon.

Let's get this thing built for the university, so that it will improve recruiting, academics, and our national image. I think the best times are yet to come for our athletes, students, and faculty.

I'm told nothing's changed. IPF groundbreaking still planned for April 27, as we reported last month.

Looking forward to it ... Hope to see a lot of work accomplished by the pre-season Fan Fest activities ...

Hope so. I gave a small donation through the M-Club last year so it would be nice to see some footings go in and steel go up immediately after the celebrity hardhats do the ceremonial scoops of dirt.

good fan!

I'm with you let's get the groundbreaking started for the IPF. If we want to be a big football school, the IPF will be the move we need in terms of being competitive with the bigger conferences for higher level recruits. We need to keep Norvell happy.

I'm afraid he's escaped. One post since the amnesty. Speculate who/how at your own risk.

With the huge loss in BB revenue, they really had to shuffle funds around to get this financed.

Basketball revenue isn't paying for this facility and money that was donated for this facility isn't covering operational costs that were once paid for by basketball revenue.
