I think we'll look back and realize how important getting Jerrell White on a short cycle was for this staff to build some legitimacy. Becevich, Whyle, Vann, and god-willing a few more, are just adding to the momentum...We all know what UC can be, these are the kinds of things that can help us get there.

Holy crap. This is ridiculous. By the way, I just checked Ohio State's commits. Even by their standards, the class they're pulling in is top-notch. Of the 7 commits, however, only 1 is from Ohio. We have a clear opening.......

Betting Urban would be happy to see the majority of the top Ohio talent he doesn't take end up at UC instead of at big10 school.

Oh for sure, the $900,000 he can pay us to buy out a game is way less than he would lose if Purdue or Minnesota pulled some of these kids. I bet there is a part of him that genuinely wants to see Fickell succeed and we know he still supports UC for many reasons...I think he knows he'll still get the pick of the litter, and most of these kids won't be OSU guys, so why not go to a team he'll never HAVE to play. Hawkins would maybe solicit an interesting response though...he's a guy OSU is actively seeking, that would be a shot across the bow.

We're doing this after 4-8 and a coaching change...We couldn't even get these guys after 11-win seasons and a ******* Orange Bowl. Think about the level this crew can recruit once they've got a year under their belts.

Okay, now let's go get Hawkins...

Holy sh*t. I've never been a football recruiting guy, just too hard for me to get excited about some random 2* WR from Georgia. But this stuff is getting me giddy. Land Oats and Hawkins, and we can crown Fickell king. I doubt Urban is sweating, but I bet Stoops is starting too worry.

I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I was the one (along with Marcus) who was in the Fickell camp before we made the hire. His ability to recruit Ohio was the very reason I was sold. Coombs got a lot of press locally because he is a local guy, but Fickell was a bigger recruiter for them in the state.

Can't wait to see who will be the next Bearcat commit!
