Only games I have been wrong on are Navy vs Air Force, Tulsa beating UNM, and Tulane over Army. Also was wrong on Cinci beating Marshall.

Not bad for "laughable" and "horrendous" picks.

Obviously you picked Boise to win last night since you are so good at it.

Nah, Billybobb and I talked about this. I knew we would lose this year, I just didn't think it would happen against Boise at Home.

your mwc picks were pretty accurate too ...07-coffee3

Were not that off, but was off on Wyoming. But that is a deflection on your part. I was pretty close on these predictions. I just wish I would have gone with my gut on Tulsa and Cinci. I gave them too much credit.

and boise
and csu
and air force
and new mexico
and nevada

and depending on the byu game:
utah state
and hawaii
and unlv

you did get san jose and fresno...2 is not bad

You seem to be getting overly defensive. I am really not sure why. My picks were actually complimentarybtowards the AAC and have turned out to be close. Half of my wrong picks were instances where I actually predicted AAC teams t win. What's with the animosity? Just enjoy the games. I hope your teams wins this Thursday. Major needs a good victory.

I never said that, I said you marked easy wins as toss ups, and real toss ups as losses

Houston will be the Vegas favorite for the Texas tech game, but that's an L, and we'll be double digit favorite for UTSA but that's a toss up??

Did you look at Marshall tram last year (they were trash even for c-usa standards ) but a toss up for cincy

Ask your self what was a legitimate upset you put for the AAC.. I see numerous against us

UTSA is widely considered as a program on the rise by many that cover G5 football, and the game will be on the road in front of a big crowd. Houston has many question marks this year, yet I still predict them to go 3-1 (I like the program).

Legitimate upset pick: I don't see one that will happen, but I acknowledged that UCLA/Memphis is a 'toss up.' That is the point. It is a 50/50 game. Which one would you pick? What toss ups are easy victories?

UTSA is on the rise for the c-usa standard...That doesn't make that game a toss up and tech an L..

Smu is viewed as bigger riser than UTSA and next year is viewed as their break through year as they've been stock pilling 4stars for the last few years and their best player passed on a 1-2nd Rd draft grade to come back...But tcu isn't a toss up.. and a ton of bad teams are toss ups

Remove your anti-aac bias glasses look at you ridiculous list, 1 team is fine but an entire conference of 12 teams you don't see a single upset, half the games with worse teams are toss ups for everyone and any team pericieved really debatable or bigger name Is an automatic L for EVERYONE..

Maybe it's subconscious but that list is biased

Ok, agree to disagree. We will see. Lets revisit this in October.

For fun, here is what I have for the MW.

Air Force (2-2)

09/02 - VMI - W
09/16 - at Michigan - L
10/07 - at Navy - W (Toss Up)
11/04 - Army - L (Toss up)

Boise State (3-1)

09/02 - Troy - W
09/09 - at Washington State - L (Toss up)
09/22 - Virginia - W
10/06 - at BYU - W (Toss up)

Colorado State (2-2)

08/26 - Oregon State - W (Toss up)
09/01 - at Colorado (at Denver, CO) - L (Toss up)
09/09 - Abilene Christian - W
09/16 - at Alabama - L

New Mexico (2-2)

09/02 - Abilene Christian - W
09/09 - New Mexico State - W
09/23 - at Tulsa - L (Toss up) In ABQ, this would be a W for the Lobos
11/11 - at Texas A&M -L

Utah State (2-2)

09/01 - at Wisconsin - L
09/09 - Idaho State - W
09/16 - at Wake Forest - W (Toss up)
09/29 - BYU - L (Toss up)

Wyoming (3-1)

09/02 - at Iowa - L
09/09 - Gardner-Webb - W
09/16 - Oregon - W (Toss up - Oregon will BAD this year)

09/02 - Incarnate Word - W
09/09 - at Alabama - L
09/16 - at Washington - L
11/04 - BYU - L

Hawaii (2-2)

08/26 - at Mass - L (Toss up and I will be there)
09/02 - Western Carolina - W
09/09 - at UCLA - L
11/25 - BYU - W (Toss up)

Nevada (1-3)

09/02 - at Northwestern - L
09/09 - Toledo - L
09/16 - Idaho State - W
09/23 - at Washington State - L

San Diego State (3-1)

09/02 - UC Davis - W
09/09 - at Arizona State - W (Toss up)
09/16 - Stanford - L (Toss up)
09/30 - Northern Illinois - W

San Jose State (1-4)

08/26 - USF - L
08/31 - Cal Poly - W
09/09 - at Texas - L
09/16 - at Utah - L
10/28 - at BYU - L

UNLV (1-3)

09/02 - Howard - W
09/09 - at Idaho - L (Toss up)
09/23 - at Ohio State - L
11/11 - BYU - L

Surprisingly, my overall records picks are actually close to being completely accurate. I was wrong on a few games though.

AFA, CSU, UNM, and Utah State all will go 2-2 as I predicted. I clearly overestimated Wyoming, as I bought into the Josh Allen hype, as the rest of the CFB media seemed too. I was a late collapse by BSU away from being right on that one as well.

I think I underestimated Fresno, as they will likely beat BYU next week. I also underestimated SDSU OOC, as I did not believe we would be Stanford. I flipped the UNM win/loss. Who would have thought they would beat Tulsa, but lose to NMSU?

On point about Hawaii, and Nevada, and will likely have the correct record for UNLV as long as they lose to BYU (which I am not sure about).

The overall record for AFA will be determined this weekend against Army. I thought they would have beat Navy, but lost to Army, so the record may be correct, but the exact games would be flipped.

All in all, relatively accurate. I should have gone to Vegas.
