Arizona, Oregon, UCLA, then what? Other than those three, there's not that much...

PAC 12 would be fine. Playing some lower level league in a challenge isn't going to fly.

RE: AAC/Pac 12 Challenge
Rumor was a couple years ago the Big East tried to have a challenge with the Pac-12, but it fell through because UCLA and Arizona didn't want to do it. If those two don't want to be in a conference challenge, why have one? I'd imagine the two flagship Pac 12 programs would respond the same way to a potential AAC challenge.

I agree with others who have said, "Just schedule better." (This means you, ECU and others who consistently finish towards the bottom.)

Count me in favor of it. Best of both worlds as far as television appeal. I think AAC needs to put four teams in the tourney for a couple of years running before PAC 12 and ESPN think it is a good idea.

I would be 100% in favor of it, but I'm also nearly 100% sure the PAC 12 wouldn't go for this.

I don't think they would either, but it's worth trying.

Which Big East? The original or the C7+3?

In today's math if a couple still means 2 than I'm sure he's referring the NEWbigeast or as you calling it, the C7+3.

I don't think I've seen anyone call them the "C7+3"

That's where I got it from; the whole post was just me trolling.

RE: AAC/Pac 12 Challenge
the old big east had a challenge with the sec...it was totally lame and we beat them handily every year. Sure the top couple games were good (vs uk, florida) but the middle down Big East teams who were ncaa caliber were playing lame football school teams and it was boring. Alabama, Georgia, Auburn etc was a waste of our time. As a fan of the superior conference I wanted to end that "challenge" because it was boring.

This would be like that except the shoe would be on the other foot. The pac12 would handily beat the aac and the middle down pac 12 teams would find the middle down aac teams boring draws.
