Wild got 'em last night.... Good to see Eric Staal get another playoff win. I got his Canes jersey from his last season when it went on clearance for $65 on Fanatics LOL.... my two justifications were price and an excuse to get the NEW RED jersey. FWIW, I liked our old white and red ones, they had more personality. Our black one though is my favorite.

Rangers advance to round 2 4-2

It is complete bedlam in Nashville about the Preds now. I never thought I see it.

Well, the NHL willed this to happen....

That whole no goal by the Preds was more than suspicious.

Couple of things - the quick whistle on the Preds goal in the 1st was very suspect. The refs tried to give the goal back with the 5-on-3 in the 3rd. I was hoping for OT because there is really nothing better than OT hockey in the Stanley Cup Final but I'm happy for Trevor Daley (former Star) for getting his second championship.

Went to college with Bonino, so I'm happy for him, but I still feel sick.

Yes, the quick whistle on the Preds goal was suspect, but the Pens earned that 5-on-3. Daley has to know that you don't put your hand up to a guy's face in a punching motion when the ref is right there. It will be called every time whether you are killing a penalty or not.

I had no dog in the fight in the Finals series but thought it was a great series - better entertainment than the NBA finals which didn't produce a close game (unless you want to consider Game 3 a close game).

Congrats to the Pens, though. Pittsburgh is a great hockey town.
