Or could someone please claim to have "sources" inside top secret conference rooms at the Atlanta airport claiming school presidents have been meeting and it's bascally a done deal?
Anything to get this topic back on track. Anything...even if it's a lie...is better than a "my school's more better than yer school" pissing match.

Greenville, NC: Listed Number 7 on the Cities with the Highest Poverty Rates.
Greenville Sucks!
Much rather live in Ruston than Greenville. You come over here to disparage Ruston but your university is located in a cesspool.
[b]You are the tallest midget in Louisiana, congrats. So if we take Greenville and put it in Louisiana, it instantly becomes the richest city in your state. Holy ****. And I will never claim Greenville to be some beautiful, rich city.
[b]I'll focus on "wealth", this is going to hurt:
[b]Ruston: The median income for a household in the city was $23,001, and the median income for a family was $37,394. Males had a median income of $33,408 versus $20,413 for females. The per capita income for the city was $14,573.
Greenville: The median income for a household in the city was $28,648, and the median income for a family was $44,491. Males had a median income of $31,847 versus $26,324 for females. The per capita income for the city was $18,476.

Congrats ECU is the 14th best college in North Carolina

This is going to hurt: Guess what the best college in Louisiana is?

:lmfao:Short man complex. Tulane, LSU and then everybody else. Until this conversation I never heard the name Ruston.
And the same here in NC...UNC, State, Duke...then everyone else...Stop pretending to be something you are not.

Here is some more fun facts:
LaTech Graduation Rate: 47%
ECU: 58%
So 1 in 3 live below poverty in "Rich" Ruston and and less the 1/2 graduate from prestigious LaTech.

Tech graduates 52% within Tech itself - starting and finishing.
Tech students have a 56.6% baccalaureate graduation rate within any 4-year LA public school. The number rises to 57.1% when considering all degree programs at all public schools in the country.
Tech is the only 4-year public school in LA besides LSU with a sustained starting institution grad rate over 50%.
For reference:
LSU is 67% and 70%, respectively.
UL-L is 45.5% and 51.8%, respectively.
UL-M is 41% and 43.5%, respectively.

True, Tulane shouldn't be included unless we are talking academics. But they are 9-0 all time against you. You guys need to get them on your schedule now, you have a much better football program then they.

Crazy that you guys don't play. You guys have played LSU more than them.
Tulane should be a mandatory game for both groups. I simply can't fathom how both teams have managed to only play let than ten times. They should want to play us. It seems like every time we play them not only do they end up beating us but the go on to have good to great seasons. We would certainly travel to New Orleans to play down there.

Here's links to two separate sources, but there are others. You can do your own homework from here. You're a big boy.
http://www.onlyinyourstate.com/louisiana...places-la/
http://cajunradio.com/what-is-the-riches...ver-guess/
"So, what’s the richest REAL town in Louisiana? That would be Ruston. And that kind of surprised me, to tell the truth. I thought for sure South Louisiana had that one locked down. But the stats show otherwise.
Read More: What Is the Richest Town in Louisiana? You'll Never Guess | http://cajunradio.com/what-is-the-riches...ck=tsmclip"
The information in those links are not comparable. Some figures are for entire city whereas others are just representative of specific sub divisions or neighborhoods. Most recent census figures disclose the per capita income for the city of Ruston is $17,479 and median household income at $29,560. These averages, although low, are boosted greatly by the professionals at La Tech who enjoy salaries considerably higher than the approximately 22,000 other citizens of the town. State of Louisiana median household income is $45,727. Anyone can interpret those figures as they like.
Typical tit for tat. You guys ask for a proof source, so I sent you two. And of course, being the delinquent ahole that you are, you're still not satisfied, and you're attempting to discredit the sources. NOT MY PROBLEM!
By the way, both links are comparable. Even you can read that in BOTH polls/links, the TOWN of Ruston is clearly stated as being the richest TOWN or city in the state of Louisiana. Period. Sorry to disappoint you with more good news about Ruston. But you'll get over it.
Ruston: About 22.1% of families and 32.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 34.1% of those under age 18 and 17.6% of those age 65 or over.
Have you looked at the competition? Louisiana has a lot of very poor cities. Almost all of 'em have a big percentage of their population living below the poverty line. The one thing we DO know is that none of them are as rich as Ruston.

ECU and Greenville Sucks!
This is going to hurt: Guess what the best college in Louisiana is?
So much better than ECU
:lmfao:Short man complex. Tulane, LSU and then everybody else. Until this conversation I never heard the name Ruston.
And the same here in NC...UNC, State, Duke...then everyone else...Stop pretending to be something you are not.
Now who's really got ""short man complex"?? LOL!!

Here is some more fun facts:
LaTech Graduation Rate: 47%
ECU: 58%
So 1 in 3 live below poverty in "Rich" Ruston and and less the 1/2 graduate from prestigious LaTech.
It's not difficult to graduate from a Junior College like ECU.
