The History of Cincinnati Football 1957-2009
I recently found this video out on Youtube. I really enjoyed watching some of the old footage. Props to Nick Colosimo.

Great video. There are some nice memories there.

One constant on those great teams were the QB's UC had.

We need a good year out of our QB this year. Thank heavens the Tuberville weekly indecision of who plays QB is over.

Fun to watch that. I still get goosebumps from the Rutgers and Pitt games.

Was hoping for a few Tinker Keck punt return highlights

4 TD's on punt returns in one year, as I recall.

That video reinforces just how little history UC has in football. There's essentially the 1950's, a bunch of decades of crap, then the Rutgers game in '07 and everything after that point.

I really appreciate that. Made me a little moist in the eyes. Special teams for a special school.

Just in case nobody read the book Bearcats Rising, it is definitely worth a read. Learned a lot about the history of UC football, especially the olden days when we were considered one of the best programs in football. I read it on the way to the Sugar Bowl.

RE: The History of Cincinnati Football 1957-2009
The videos from 2008 and 2009 give me chills every time. My favorite two years for any team I've ever been a fan of (even including last year's Cubs). As someone who grew up on UC football I never dreamed of the heights UC rose to during those 2 years. I think I missed 3 road games in those 2 years (@UConn 2008, @Hawaii 2008 and @Oregon State 2009) and it was just the most amazing run game after game. 1 second from playing for a national title in 2009 after the most amazing football game I've ever attended that was capped off by that great pass and catch with Pike/Binns. Special 2 years.
