Exclamation UVA football: cheating and still awful!
"Virginia has been penalized after it self-reported Level II violations of NCAA bylaws by its football program."

http://collegefootball.ap.org/article/vi...tions-ncaa

Recruit. Cheat. Hire a top coach. Whatever. Some schools are just not football schools.

Yes they do because the Hokies are the only school in the entire ACC that has never won a single national championship in anything.

Ouch, feel the burn.

But not entirely accurate.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia_Tech_Hokies

Virginia Tech won a national championship in bass fishing (though not an NCAA varsity sport), as well as in individual track and field events and the men's basketball team has won the 1995 and 1973 NIT national titles.[2] In addition, an undefeated Hokies football team played Florida State in the 2000 Sugar Bowl for the 1999 National Championship and finished the season with a #2 ranking in the BCS Poll.

RE: UVA football: cheating and still awful!
As you can see, VT and UVA don't see eye-to-eye in terms of athletic priorities.

College Bass Fishing

According to this list, NC State and Florida State have won national championships. I don't see Virginia Tech listed.

From another source, it looks like Kansas won the 2016 trophy.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Six months ago, Virginia Tech's Scott Wiley didn't know that College Bass clubs existed. On Saturday, he and partner Brett Thompson out-fished 35 of the top College Bass teams in America to win the Under Armour College Bass National Championship on the Arkansas River.

....it's bass fishing. Winning the NC in bass fishing is like winning the NC in crushing value ice beerswhile wearing camo.

You win by just showing up.

That may be true in states where winter lasts 350 days.

How else are they going to win a championship?

Louisville just won another cheerleading championship BTW. All girl squad & small co-ed cheer squad.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisvil...eerleading

The cheerleading squads have won multiple championships with the large co-ed squad winning 15 National Cheerleaders Association Collegiate National championships (1985–86, 1989, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998–99, 2003–05, 2007–09, 2011), the all-female squad winning nine championships (1998–99, 2001–05, 2009, 2011) and the small co-ed cheerleading squad winning seven championships (2005–11).[11] The University of Louisville Spirit Groups hold more national titles than any other sport offered at the university.

Meanwhile bounties at Miami are unpunished.
Meanwhile totally fake classes at UNC are unpunished.
Meanwhile bag men in the SEC are unpunished.

But you bet your sweet *** we punished the **** out of GT for a fan that gave Bebe Thomas some aquarium tickets!
And you bet your sweet *** we'll punish Cavman for photos with recruits.

WHEN CAN THE NCAA BE BURNED AT THE STAKE LIKE THEY NEED TO BE?

So in other words, terrible beer and mosquito bites. Why would you do that to yourself?
