I assume lots of students went home for Easter. I also assume many - especially we out of towners - could not make a Good Friday Easter weekend game. IMO very stupid scheduling. Fick is one who should have know better.

Anything of note besides the poor attendance?

From the Twitter photos it actually looks like an alright showing...probably between 8,000-10,000.

Also from Twitter, it appears the Offense went home for Easter too...12-0 at half on four Pasley FGs, which in and of itself is a miracle.

No excuses not to come. I doubt the Club will have food but $7 for a Cod sandwich, chips and a side is a price that folks can afford to bring the whole family and eat. Add a $2 cookie, sweet.

Even I prefer a cold beer with a fried fish sandwich than wine, especially the rot gut they sell as wine in the Club. They sell in a plastic pre package glass something called Copa de Vino, a more accurate name would be Copa de Vinegar.

Ticket office said the Club will be selling food.

"No excuses not to come."

There is no excuse - there is STUPIDITY. Stupidity scheduling the game on Good Friday. Plain and simple STUPID!

Actually thought it was the best attended spring game we've had. May have done a little better on a non-holiday weekend but definitely a good showing

Well if they determined the best schedule for spring practices culminated this weekend it wouldn't make sense to change it just to try to get and extra thousand people to a game that was free

Despite Hayden taking the lead in the QB battle, Trail looked more impressive today.

Black team defense dominated.

Pasley was the MVP. Made short and long (44 and over 50). Very impressed with him. Alex Thomas had 2 picks and the defense overall looked better. Good tackling and general fundamentals. Thought Minor looked quicker than he did last season. But overall the offense was sluggish. Prettt boring game actually.

We left at halftime. I thought was crowd was fine -- many more than would have fit into Sheakley.

I'd say that the defenses are way ahead of the offenses. Hayden Moore was very shaky. Trail easily outplayed him. Hard to believe, but Pasley was the star of the show. He hit a 53-yarder at the end of the half.

Left at half. Mike Boone played on Red team -2nd team. Doaks was on black. Parsley looked great. I hope he does not kick that often in fall.

Needed more servers in Club.

Bohn had said at games there would be nothing of FC, yet tonight there was. Yuck!

We wanted to get a fish sandwich but the line was too long, were they good? Left after the 1st quarter, looked like a respectable crowd for being on Good Friday. Couldn't pay much attention to the game but the QBs looked rough. Hopefully Gibson can play. Was that him walking the red ream sideline sideline with the Reds jersey?

I also only stayed for first half. I thought Doaks looked pretty explosive on a couple of runs.

Heard they limited him because they are still bringing him along slowly. Had a big catch and just a couple runs.

Thanks. Forgot about his injury (turf toe I think) but glad he got some work in.

We stayed through the 3rd quarter.

The offense was not great (or the defense was?). The QB's are real good at throwing the ball out of bounds, though.

I didn't see any receivers stand out.

The defense looks like they will have more ability to get to the QB this year.

We saw most of the basketball team sitting together at the top of the student section.
