Wish Delmas would find peace with himself and start hanging with better folks. Not the first time something like this has happened with him.

RE: Louis Delmas garnering attention...
The Lions had made comments like "football is EVERYTHING" to Lou. "Not sure what will happen to him without it."

He's always been one of my favorites. I too hope he finds peace and a way to use his amazing energy.

Maybe Lester needs to bring him back to the zoo in a coaching capacity... then again if I do recall Lou doesn't have the best verbal skills...

RE: Louis Delmas garnering attention...
Delmas played way above his weight class and guys who do that usually have injury-ridden careers. He was somewhat small for an NFL safety and playing undersized at that level is physically demanding. With him, it was his knees that took the brunt of all the hitting. And playing for the Lions with their weak LBing corps, he saw a lot of BIG NFL running backs coming at him through the middle.

I seriously hope LD gets out of the fast lane and starts living his life with more forethought. He needs new friends who will keep him on the straight and narrow. Like someone said, he has a lot of life left to live-he needs to do it wisely.

Agreed. He's at a pivotal point in his life right now.

Not just staying out of legal trouble, but also financially. Making sure he's got a good accountant with his long-term interests in mind. How many examples have we seen where these guys blow through their millions and wind up broke by 40.

Believe he was a freshman 12 years ago. Graduated in 2009. Can't pin this one on the Fleckmeister.
