Some people have a propensity for griping about things that they cannot change, always looking for the negative. I would imagine life is not enjoyable for someone with that mindset. I too would feel sorry for someone of that ilk.

I see no reason to feel sorry for Potts. His life to live.

Anyhow, last choice of the poll: "I hate baseball." If someone "dropped a turd" on your fun, why blame the person answering the poll? Seems it would be OP ruined the day. 03-wink

Baseball is far and away my favorite sport and I feel sorry for those who don't watch it anymore because of something that happened 23 years ago. Granted, you got to see some legends of the game in the 50's-80's, but you've missed out and are missing out on amazing ballplayers and talent since then.

In a study done by GOBankingRates, the average total cost of attending an MLB game this year - factoring in ticket prices, food, beverage and parking - was around $77.92 for two people.

And on tv, I can think of infinitely more socially productive things and real life talent I'd prefer to see than watching a game of mercenaries that most people sleep through. I've missed nothing, thank you.

There's plenty of hungry working people you can save your pity for but it's your life to demean others simply because they don't see value in your favorite pastime. You're an excellent representative of your university and humanity. 03-wink

okay. smh.
