OK, ACC has been producing the last few years, yet the revenue gap is growing and ACC dead last in conf payout.

When does the conference start to care about this issue?

When does the conference start to care about this issue?

I'm pretty certain the leadership of the conference cares a lot. The primary strategy that the conference has developed to address the issue is the launch of the ACC Network in 2019. Whether the ACC can keep pace with the B1G and SEC will depend entirely on the success of that launch. Winning national championships in football and basketball does improve the network's potential for success.

Revenues will jump once the "linear" ACC Network launches in the fall of 2019. Florida State athletics director Stan Wilcox said the ACC's projections have indicated that the distribution per school will increase by $8 million-$10 million in 2019-20, and then $10 million-$15 million in future years.

promise of a forthcoming network paired with the delicious possibility of texas joining should forever preclude debbie downers like you from peeing on our parade ...

You're forgetting 1990-91: Ga Tech (FB), Duke (MBB)

AllThingsFSU goes even further:

Both titles in same season (but not ACC at time necessarily):

1983 Miami & NC State
1990/91 Georgia Tech & Duke
1991 Miami & Duke / & Duke 1992
1993 FSU & UNC
2001 Miami & Duke / & Maryland 2002
2013 FSU & Louisville
2016/17 Clemson & UNC

So only the SEC and ACC have done it (twice each) in the past 40 years. Not bad.
