Is A&M historically strong in baseball?

Yes, the past two seasons they won 99 games . . . 49 last year, 50 in 2015.

And they've drilled us pretty good the past few seasons . . .

They are a little "youngish" this year . . .

Awesome...hope you take'em to the woodshed!
04-cheers

RE: Midweek Baseball 3/28
A&M with a little 6th inning rally, Cats go to the Pen, Aggies get 1 across to make it 3-2, 1 out . . . 2 on . . .

. . now 2 out, bases loaded with Aggies

And we walk in the tying run 03-banghead

. . going to the pen . . again . .

AState takes a rare midweek lead 4-3 heading Bottom 10. Can we hold on?

Cajuns defeat McNeese State 3-1. Cowboys came in hitting .331 as a team and had won 14 in a row at home, including LSU.

Freshman Jack Burk gave the Cowboys two hits through six. Evan Guillory pitched the 7th and 8th and Dylan Moore blew them away in the ninth for his sixth save.

If we only had a bullpen. We are as good as anybody we have played for seven innings.

Don't know if I'd go that far. Pitching and defense are not problems. We can't hit, or at least haven't so far. perhaps the bats will come around, but as a team we're hitting an anemic .227 and only have 1 guy hitting over .300. We've only hit 17 HR's and 32 extra base hits. Ironically those numbers are just a bit under what our staff has given up, so pitching has definitely kept us in games. Weekend starters doing a good job with a 3.79 era and a .274 opponents batting average. The bullpen hasn't done as bad as you might think, but a couple of guys got blown up early in the year and that is distorting the numbers a bit.

Sun Belt is struggling to close games out this year. I've seen COUNTLESS games against great competition that have been lost in the 7th, 8th, or 9th innings.

Coastal is playing UNCW tonight, AKA the only other school I know of with teal as one of their colors. We've bounced back nicely and are up 13-2, top of the 8th. Our teal is a nicer shade than theirs btw.

We've won 5/6 comeback games where we were down in the 7th/8th inning; including UT and CCU
