Eff Cal. Who cares how he feels.

Agreed. It was tough to watch Bam and Fox in the post game interview. Not surprised that Cal immediately tried to blame the refs.

It was a fun game to watch. The many multitudes of KY fans in my area will be in a sour mood, but rationally it has been a successful season for the Wildcats.

I am convinced that Cal is one of the greatest recruiters in NCAA history. I am also convinced that Cal has not/will not/cannot improve his X's and O's. If he hasn't improved by now, when would he have improved?

He hired one of the best recruiters in the world. Couldn't even do that before WWW came along.

ESPN is changing the Cal quote in the 30:30 promo. Cal will now say, "You're gonna hate me. Because I come to your town and beat your team...unless it's in the tournament. Then I typically choke."

Did Calipari rationalize that NC 12-0 run that propelled them to victory? Or did the refs fail to play adequate defense? Typical Cal; deflect attention from his own ineptitude. Agree on the karma observation above.

This thread is the shows the most lack of knowledge about CBB that I have read on here in a long time and that's saying a lot. Figures though with only a few posters left. We go to 3 straight E8s (for the only time in our history) and some idiot compares today's game to those teams. Shows stupid in the extreme. That's just one example.

Blame Cal all you want. The players he "stole" from us signed or committed because of Cal not because they wanted a degree from UofM.

Refresh my memory. Was WWW with Cal at UMass when he took a down trodden program to F4?

It had to be the refs that's why his players were throwing it into the NC players hands . Cal ain't no better than he was in Memphis. If his players aren't superior by a lot " he losses " ?

That was a great game to watch. I have UNC picked in my bracket to take it all, so there's that....

I really liked the little Memphis "Host" logo on the floor along the baseline, right at the end of the UK bench. That was quite the coincidence, don't ya' think?

Pastner? Cal has a championship and goes on nice runs in the tournament every now and then. Granted any other coach would probably have 3 championships with the talent he gets.

It was a good game. I was cheering for UNC but UK winning doesn't bother me at all now.

Sorry! But NO! UK fans don't rationalize..... This is NOT what they expect and they are going to get weary of Cal's antics!!!!! He will be crying for Memphis to hire him back in less than three years

I've said it before. He's a slightly better than average coach. He's an A+ sales guy who's somehow weaseled himself into the HOF when he's done nothing but left schools on probation. And a slimy recruiting system in plain sight the NCAA doesn't do anything about because it makes too much money for and from CBS I think.

UK's Calipari opens presser with excuses and finger pointing. "It's amazing we were in that game with them practically fouling out my team."
