Basketball transfers
Any chance Mick uses the last scholarship on a transfer? I haven't seen a list of all transfers so far, but I know Jeter from Duke, Noah Richardson from Washington, a few Virginia players are transferring. There is also speculation Bragg from Kansas (whom is from Ohio), Bolden from Duke, and Killeya-Jones from UK could transfer. We could use a big guy for the 18/19 season, wouldn't mind filling that slot with one of those guys.

Cant see us getting a grad transfer for next year. I can see us getting a transfer though. Someone who would step in for clark or washington when they leave.

Id stay away from Bragg if he does transfer. Too much red tape with whatever is going on with him

RE: Basketball transfers
Top priority is a skilled big that will sit out next year and take over for Clark and Washington. At this point I believe the 2017-2018 roster to be set outside any late movement. In some ways stability hurts UC in recruiting because there isn't a bunch of minutes for newcomers to take. Roster stability helps UC make the tournament every year but probably limits the coaching staff's ability to add a piece that puts the over the top; however, it keeps them from crashing like Ohio State, Memphis, UConn, Georgetown, Missouri, NC State, and couple other name brands have done over the last couple of years.

I thought the only "issue" with Bragg is they found a small pot pipe in his dorm room. I don't think he's involved in the group with the girl in the dorm. I could be wrong as they've had so many guys this year with their name out there i have trouble keeping track of it.

Did we recruit Bragg out of high school? His name sounds familiar.

He was the kid who had a Kansas hat on and said that he committed to Kentucky, made national news. Came out of Villa Angela-St. Joes in NE Ohio, one of the most completely unabashed recruiting schools in America.

Rumors swirling that Bolden is transferring out of Duke. That makes 3 so far (Jeter, Bolden, Obi)

RE: Basketball transfers
I think the ideal guy to add would be Noah Dickerson from Washington. UC tried to get some traction there when he got out of his LOI from Florida when Donovan left. He will probably be the most highly recruited big man transfer, but UC can offer playing time...

Playing time shouldnt be an issue at the 4 or 5 by the time he is eligible

Hard to believe Dedrick Lawson is going to sit a year out, but stranger things have happened. Tubby must have canned the old man.

UCONN and Memphis are obviously freaking out because they have to play Gary Clark for 1 more year..

In all honesty, I didn't think this conference could get worse..

Wonder how long UConn will stick with Ollie? Program has gone down fast since he won the NC.

I'd love to see Mick go after these two. Besides being immediate starters in the 2018 season, they also have a younger brother in the 2019 class who is a 5-star recruit.

If only we were moving to the Big 12.. as they are apparently looking for a P5 team to transfer to..

You would probably have to hire daddy to get them.

...They're also headcases, who insisted at Memphis that their father Keelon had to be part of the coaching staff. They have terrible attitudes, behave like entitled D'bags and could sink the program. No thanks.
