Two former Owls in Final Four
Kind of crazy to think that two former Rice Owl basketball players will be playing in next week's Final Four. Dylan Ennis was a freshman all-CUSA player way back in 2011-12 (before transferring to Villanova where he played two years, and then transferring to Oregon where he's been for another two years). This is his 6th year in college and he's 25 (will be 26 at the end of the year). Jeremy Jones was a Rice football recruit who also played a season of basketball before leaving (he wanted to just play basketball but we wouldn't put him on scholarship in basketball - he's a preferred walk-on at Gonzaga).

LaTech's ex-coach, Mike White is at FL and could be about to join them in the Final 4

Well then he'll have to buy a ticket.

I think coaches get in automatically to the Final Four. But he'll certainly be in the stands and not on the sideline.

I thought the NCAA rule was that "a player has 5 years to play 4". Unless of course, they receive some kind of medical hardship exemption, etc... Did Dylan Ennis ever receive a medical hardship waiver for a 6th year?
