RE: MBB Roster
They have Hill listed at 6-7. He is only 6-5 from what I have read.
They need a big man. They have sticks.

I'm sure Hill will grow 2 inches taller by November

Verbal Commits lists him as 6-7 though I am certain he is more likely just over 6'6 with his shoes on and round up.

Seems like the upside is a Lauf type. I'm good with that; you need those guys to do the dirty work.
Still need a big guy.

Coach K said on his radio show that he was a little taller than Lauf who is 6-4 or so.

6-4, 6-5, really don't matter. Can he play?
As we can see from the NCAA tournament, when the 3s ain't falling, you need plan B. A big guy.
Even a clod of some sort wouldn't hurt. :-)

Well he is on a team that knows how to win -
Massillon Jackson ends Cincinnati Moeller's undefeated season, 39-38, in Division I championship game... "Logan Hill had 12 points to lead the Polar Bears"

WE had a pretty solid inside the last two years and struggled with guard play. To me the most important recruits as far as freshmen are concerned are Marreon Jackson and Rose. With Willie and Fletcher we should have guys who can play the 3 and 4 all though their not 6'8" their tall enough to play. Knapke and Adway have to develop. One of our best years under coach K we had Pearson, Drummond and Juice at the guards, Boothe at a stretch 4 and weatherspoon at an undersized 4. Weatherspoon wasn't 6'6" more like 6'4" and Boothe was in foul trouble and not as effective as he would be in his junior or senior year, but our guard play was the best in the league. If our guards develop next year and Adway and Knapke can give us what Boothe and Matt Smith did we could be a good team. It will be interesting to see if Coach K can land another big guy, but if he can't contribute for 2 or 3 years, I'll take another guard who can contribute and we can have a 6 man rotation at the 1,2,and 3 positions.

RE: MBB Roster
I love all the speculation about how tall players are. Hill is listed at 6'7" but is only 6'5", or is it 6'6" with his shoes on. Lauf is only 6'4", even though listed at 6'5". Now I learn for the first time that Weatherspoon is 6'4" even though he was listed at 6'6". How tall is Justin Roberts, 4'11"? And where are you guys getting your information? Unless you tell me that you actually measured someone, I guess I'll stick with the numbers in the program rather than your eyeball guess from the stands.
The only relevant figure, anyway, is a guy's reach, since you don't rebound, shoot, or block shots with the top of your head. Having a long neck or long head doesn't help, but having long arms sure does.

Exactly, size doesn't matter.
