Interesting NMSU season tix promo
Kind of cool looking ring, imo.
Early NM State Basketball Season Tix sale starts 4/3. Each seat will come with a '17 team ring - these are no joke: Heavy & Blingy. #AggieUp

I'll be buying season tickets. Someone on the NMSU board said they will allow people to pay for their season tickets in payments.

Maybe CSUB promotion dept shoukd make a mood ring promo? One that turns colors from blue to gold at times of high anxiety, like...towards the end of each game for example.

RE: Interesting NMSU season tix promo
Great promo by NMSU. I know GCU ticket office could be a little more creative, or even considerate, when it comes to attracting/retaining season ticket holders. Maybe there is no urgency to do so when you can fill the building on any given night with students, employees, & community groups who receive deeply discounted and/or free tickets.
It'd just be nice if people who back the program through the purchase of season tickets were honored somehow. Some of us have been around since long before D1 days. A gift. A luncheon. A raffle. Something only for season ticket holders. Not too much to ask, is it?

I knew you had to be around before the for profit module started. You can just tell the guys that went to GCU when it was a traditional schools compared to the Havoc snots and others that have attended recently. And no offense but GCU doesn't need a ticket promo. Tickets are for $3.00 dollars already. That's the secret of the packed houses, almost free tickets and paying student leaders to ramp up enthusiasm on campus.

RE: Interesting NMSU season tix promo
Nope. I've only attended GCU as for-profit, though I grew up in neighborhood & schools around campus in the early 90s. I also have friends attend GCU out of high school, which was before the transition. I'm pretty sure the FP move that saved GCU from closing its doors forever was just within the last decade or so.
As far as attendance goes, you are right that GCU doesn't NEED ticket promos. I don't think the "secret" to a packed building and/or a gameday environment that gets national attention is much of secret anymore. I also don't blame GCU for doing it & honestly wonder why more schools don't do the same. Ultimately, that is for other schools to figure out what works best for them.
My thing is it would be nice if GCU also took care of season ticket holders who, for some strange reason, would rather pay for ticket packages than take advantage of the inevitable discounted and/or free tickets available out there. To your point, dancing, GCU doesn't do season ticket holder perks because they don't have to. They know crazy old guys like me are bought in no matter what...
...and they can give the rest of the seats to purple kool-aid fueled androids. Right?
