Yep, the 18 intelligence agencies making the claim is a lie. Never happened.

It was more than a phishing scam.
yeah it's funny how the DNC wouldn't let the FBI touch their servers but would let a private firm. Based on my experience in consulting some clients are willing to pay you to reinforce their opinions.

Manafort, who worked for Yanukovych’s Party of Regions for nearly a decade,

Which means he was lobbying in DC during Bush 2 and Obama, mostly during Obama's 2 terms. So which lawmakers got some
of that money? Not Trump, he was a private citizen.

I'm disappointed in you. Mach has his Russia delusion, but you haven't displayed the same signs of illness.

AP has lost the ability to use reason or distinguish between fact and editorial opinion.

This article focuses on his consulting work from 2005 (that's 12 years ago-many Democrats have problems with math04-cheers) and mentions that he continued to do so until 2014. There's nothing nefarious about such a memo. He is simply selling services.

The only hint of anything illegal is mentioning that the Ukranians are investigating him as part of their Yanukovych investigation. They're investigating everything related to Yanukovych. Almost all of their politicians are dirty.

The left and democrats keep throwing up all these isolated incidents as somehow evidence of some nefarious plan, but what continues to be missing is any sort of link between any of them. Yes Manafort advised some Russians. So did Podesta. But in either case, where are the links that connect those engagements to any policy decisions by either candidate? That's what's missing.

I'm not saying that the links don't exist, and I'm troubled by the possibility that they might. But they haven't been shown to exist yet.

I'm not saying there is a connection between him and Trump (in that Trump was also working for Russia's best interests). But it does continue the pattern that Trump continues to hire (or has hired) a number of people who are corrupt, clueless or a combination of both. He is not draining the swamp, he's merely replacing the swamp's inhabitants with similar creatures.

According to the story, Manafort may be going to jail.

Under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, people who lobby in the U.S. on behalf of foreign political leaders or political parties must provide detailed reports about their actions to the department. Willfully failing to register is a felony and can result in up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, though the government rarely files criminal charges. "I don't know if he violated the Foreign Agent Registration Act," Sen. Graham said, "but it's something I think we all need to know more about."
