CBS just aired a nice little special on Troy and his Mom's relationship. Seems like Troy has a heck of a Mom.

RE: Renee Caupain
Then the studio guys followed up by essentially saying UC has no chance against mighty UCLA.

which is funny because the ESPN website that does %chances of winning has UC with a 39% chance.

I think its higher than that however.

Did I miss that? I watched Kellogg talk about how UC's defense needed to start with offense. He said if they put the ball in the basket they'd have a chance for the upset. It wasn't all that insightful, but didn't seem like he was saying they have no chance.

RE: Renee Caupain
They mentioned Ball was going to be feeding Alford, who was a great sharpshooter, plus UC had never seen big guys like UCLA's. Basically praised player after UCLA player, without mentioning anyone from UC.

Didn't care how "Greg the Felon" mimicked Renee's signal to Troy at the end of the segment. Seemed belittling to me.

Right now the line is 154 and UC is a 4 point dog.

We really reach for things to be outraged about sometimes. I got nothing from it than he thought it was a cool thing between mother and son.

I watched it and got the same vibe Mark did. I do think as UC fans we sometimes look for anything to gravitate to that could be considered disrespectful to our program. Didn't see anything that fit that bill here. I think we're all a bit on edge with a huge game ahead of us tonight and a thirst to prove the analysts wrong...

...Think they were more implying this was going to be a really hard out with UCLA. Don't see it so much as an insult.

Agree with you and mark - I didn't see or hear anything belittling.
