8 APP, 4-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 saves, 15.2 IP, 1 unearned run allowed, 25 K, 6 BB, .135 OBP. Allowed his first and only extra base hit today.
This week: 3 appearances, 2-0, 1 save, 5.1 shutout innings, 5 hits, 8 K
Don't look now but Charlotte's Friday Night pitcher has a 27 inning scoreless streak going. If you're going to win a series against those guys you're going to have to get through him first.
He's got my early vote for POY.

Colton and starting rotation has really been a pleasant surprise this year. I didn't know what to expect, but we got everybody back from last year, and got a new pitching coach. Everyone was speaking highly of the staff this Fall and it is nice to see some positive results this spring. I think our new pitching coach Shohn Doty, has made a big difference.

Colton Laws has been phenomenal so far this year. He showed potential last season, but there was no indication that he would perform at this level. I think he has benefitted greatly from our new pitching coach. Here's hoping that he keeps rolling!
