True. However, his facial expressions are no match for Ollie's.

How about Evans on the dee side of the ball tonight?

Evans had some turnovers, but it seemed like after most of them, he erased it on the other end with a blocked shot of a run-out. It epitomizes that thing Mick always preaches, about not letting your offensive mistakes affect your defensive intensity.

Evans seemed really out of it on offense for most of the game. I feel like we still have not seen what this team is truly capable of on offense. They are a very dangerous team.

Also, how about Nysier Brooks giving some really quality minutes. Hopefully Washington has a monster game and stays out of foul trouble, but I think UCLA has some guys that Brooks can defend when he's in there.

If either brooks or quad_squad end up playing major mins. We are in really bad shape. Imperative that kw and gary stay on the floor

Still pumped from that game last night. Troy Caupain was the best player on the floor. Controlled the entire game like great PGs do. Troy is the most underappreciated Bearcat i can remember. If huggs had a pg like troy on those fortson teams uc would have been the best team in the country. Great career and i hope he keeps it going Sunday.

Suck it Bruce Weber.

Can someone enlighten me on this pasty faced mother humper Bruce Webber? What is exactly his problem with UC? He blew by Mick in the handshake line like he had a dump oozing down his leg.
I did a little lurking over on the K-State Scout forum. Apparently this is Webber's signature move after a loss. Even their fans think it's a no class bag o' dooosh move, and don't know why he acts that way. But, they pretty much seem to hate everything about the guy. I don't think his future is terribly bright out in Manhatten.

I would guess Weber's W-L record hasn't inspired much confidence in Manhattan. His lack of sportsmanship probably isn't appreciated either. Having lived in Kansas, I can tell you Kansasans like Nebraskans are very polite, nice, salt of the earth folks who wouldn't take kindly to someone who acts like a baby after losing. They appreciate good competition and gracious winning/losing. I'm guessing his schtick has worn thin.

Agreed on all counts.
Very glad his mom is getting to be there in person to watch.
Hope he can lead the team to play next weekend.

We owe UCLA some payback. Lenny Stokes agrees.

JJ, Brooks, Q and Scott can give good minutes (to give the startes a longer blow) one or two at a time with the starters but UC really drops off talent-wise when more than 2 bench guys are in at the same time. (Not including Jarron in that crew as he should start over KJ. He won't because Mick will defer to the SR but Jarron has played better down the stretch than KJ.)

Would love to see KJ have a game like his senior night against UConn. He was very good but hasn't done much since.

In spite of KJ's recent struggles I still like the energy and scoring Cumberland brings coming off the bench. If you start Cumberland and he's missing shots the offense may really need a spark. I don't see KJ providing that same scorer's mentality coming off the bench. I agree though, KJ is due for a solid scoring performance. UCLA may leave him open and let's hope they get burned if they do.

The key/problem with Troy is his consistency, as has been the case all year. Even Mick knows that. That's why I think he was lighting a fire under Troy by saying this team will go as far as Troy takes them (paraphrasing). He can't go out and lay an egg on Sunday or press things too much because he's facing the best PG in the country.

Great game. Clearly the better team.

Didn't it seem like we were getting a lot of foul calls going our way? Especially off the ball and under the basket.

Agree Beercat. But, with Clark and KJ, Evans' value on defense is clearly underrated.
