The messed up thing about the situation is that ECU has an assistant who has proven to do the job better than Lebo... But still adheres to the chain of command dictated by the payroll.
Compher's job is to fund raise, and this situation could be dealt with in other ways but he's showing no initiative to fix the situation.

It already is, me and my family pop it in and pretend ECU won the NIT instead

ECU certainly does have loyal fans that would vigorously support a winner. These fans deserve more effort from the brass.

Here they are at "Sup Dogs" cheering on the Pirates against Weber State. Compher should at least throw these fans a bone and give them some hope with Michael Perry (if nothing else)
